Well we ran the first drift day at Buxton last Sunday and had a great day.

Next one on the 30th, £11 to spectate.

John.

Well after seeing the huge response this thread got I thought I'd let you know we're running it again this Sunday.

Starts at 9, £11 to get in and watch.

Considering £12 gets you a full day of race spectating at Oulton, and in fact watching drifitng at Oulton is free when their drift practise days are on, £11 seems very excessive for watching a few amateurs practise!!

It always surprises me that you can just drive into Oulton Park on most days for free.

And that's really nice. Was passing the other day, heard bikes, drove in and watched a bike track day for half an hour.

I have taken part in several drift days at Oulton Park and found them hugely entertaining. Asking people to pay to watch .......... you have got to be having a laugh.

The problem is that Buxton Raceway charge for entry for their events. That's just how it is. We give 2 spectator passes with every entry.

When you consider the costs to actually go and drive there, it's almost more cost efficient than going to spectate!

We only pay a few quid more than that to practice for the whole day!

The problem is that Buxton Raceway have always charged to much for what it is. imo
even on banger racing days, oulton park is much better value
