Camping in the lakes

Myself my GF and our friends are going camping Saturday night and are trying to find a campsite close to some pubs, nice walks and with the usual required facilities, can anyone recommend me some in the lakes?

Hi,

Theres a site at Coniston Hall. Right next to Lake Coniston and the village itself.

Several pubs and decent facilities, they may be limited for space at this time of year.

Aint that just,
We stayed up in Pooley Bridge the other weekend, forecast had it as rain all weekend, all we got was abit of cloud and alot of sun on the Saturday and Sunday.

Fantastic weekend,

Saturday was Roasting and I have never seen Windermere so busy.

Woke to the Rain Sunday but was coming home anyway.
