Have the car booked in for a wheel refurb at National Alloys in Widnes. Using the one day service, so now need advice on how to spend by 9 hours or so?

Any local knowledge appreciated.

TIA.

Wear a Wigan Rugby top, and go to the main shopping centre in simms cross. Every knuckle dragger will try and chase you out of town, they won't get very far if you are used to breathing oxygen, it puts you at an advantage.

Come to Warrington and look at the Giftdays shop. There's a Gallardo, an Exige and a drift car in there, plus the Visionracer simulators to play on!

Or try and check out 20 sheets of plasterboard through their new self checkout system. Be warned though 9 hours may not be enough!!!

Mmm not sure how that helps to kill time in Widnes? But if there's time you could find a car, rent a trailer from Autoquip, drive up to Teeside, get the car ready, and go for it.

Or, get the previously mentioned hooker, go to Giftdays in Warrington, look at the pretty cars in Giftdays, play on the Visionracers then head for the Travelodge and .....

I waste 8 hrs in Widnes most days, in Gorsey Lane.

Is the Roll Inn still going? It used to be a truck stop.
