I'm looking for some Marley concrete rooftiles to make some repairs to the roof of my 1960s house. Ideally I'd like weathered old tiles to match the rest and make an invisible repair. I can find them on ebay - but only hundreds of miles away.
Does anyone know of anyone in the Northwest who deals in this sort of stuff.?

are these not what you're after?

ebay listing shropshire

Not too far away if they're right - alternatively, give them a call

Thanks kirsty. I'll give them a call and see if they've got the tiles I'm looking for.
However, Although Oswestry is much nearer than the ones I found in Dorset, it's still 107 miles from Lancaster. Anyone know of anywhere nearer?

If he has got them, I'm passing there this week, and also in a fortnight, so happy to transport them as far as Warrington if that helps - out all over the place in company car for work smile

Thanks for the offer Kirsty, but I was after 50 or more, which weigh 12lb each. Your repmobile would probably baulk a bit at that.!

I've tracked the tiles I need down to a salvage yard in Middlesbrough, who couldn't have been more helpful. Shoulld get them on Friday

There is a reclamation yard down the road from me (Macclesfield), although I can only confirm they have cast iron fireplaces I do remember seeing all sorts of stuff in their yard.

This is the one:

Still a fair trek from Lancaster, but nearer than Oswestry! About 30 minutes from J19 M6 FYI.
