Car rental for few days in Manchester

I have my parents coming over for a few days later this month. I'm looking to book a small rental car for them, a supermini. A few of the big names have quoted me 45ish for 2 days rental, which seems reasonable. However, I need to drop the car off at night on a saturday and the local offices close at 12 midday. The only way to get round this is to drop it off at airport for an extra £75, which is extortionate or drop it off monday which is more hassle and an extra 2 days of hire. Does anyone know a hire company in city centre-ish location that I can drop off at late saturday or sunday without huge additional cost?

Using hire comapnies a lot... I doubt it, go for the monday drop off. or use the £75 fee or them picking up for the convience.
