Hi all,

I've been given the task by work of coming up with some decent Xmas do ideas. Think the reason is that last Xmas was my first with that company, and the do was crap, and the MD agreed and asked me what i did at my last place. I gave him some rough ideas but he wants me to investigate further.

Any ideas?

Looking ideally in the Warrington area, and it's a Construction company, so lots of blokes wanting a drink in reality - so probably best to avoid suggestions of go-karting, paint-balling etc.

At my last company, we got a bus from the office at 12 noon on Mad Friday, to PNE for a big meal and a boogie, then they put on further buses to take us into Preston centre.

I guess from your elaborate title you're actually a QS.

Give us an idea of the size of company and i'm sure that many can help out.

I'm a freelance Construction Cost Consultant and Dispute Resolution Expert by the way....

I sure am a QS - not sure why i put that title down - that was months back when i first joint and was on the verge of going working for a well known Dispute Resolution company in the Cheshire area that im sure you know!

Size of company - in terms of staff numbers - approx 50 office/managerial staff, approx 40 site/trades staff.

If there are 50 blokes and all they want to do is drink then take them to a pub! Seriously though, loads of pubs with good function rooms in Warrington.
