Someone broke into my house about four this morning and stole my car keys and took my Impreza WRX. I understand from the police that there is a spate of these crimes at the moment especially around Liverpool, Warrington and St Helens.

All the cars being taken are fast 4 seater cars, the typical rice rockets. Take your car keys to bed with you, personally I will be wearing my car key internally from now on. (I wish I had a Mercedes, the key issue is so smooth and streamlined - their engineers think of everything!)

Sorry to hear of this. Not a million miles from me either.

I take my keys to bed with me too.

BUT, a mate of mine told me that's what put him in hospital. Now he leaves his keys on the kitchen table - so if they want the car, they've no need to batter him for them!

This is all very sad. Hope the buggers get caught or wrap themselves round a lamp post....but then this will mean you wont see your car again either.

Some friends of ours got 'done-over' same as during the night last week. Rockery stone launched through the patio windows and keys to their Audi S3 taken - the car was found quickly (Tracker fitted) in a car park nearby.
The Police said the worst thing was to hide keys - if the b@@**ds are in your house - you want them out quick - not threatening mine or my kids lives for a replaceable insured car.

It's just plain wrong isn't it? I mean, if there's someone in your house, that you haven't invited to be there, threatening you and trying to steal something that you own, then you should be not only allowed to kill them on the spot, but you should also be given a medal and a fking reward too.
