Cleaning up dinks/scratches in S Manchester

Now I'm not looking for detailing - can't afford it - but just run-of-the mill decent quality tidy-up for one slightly dented panel (thankyouverymuch Transit driver in the Tescos carpark ) and a bad scratch along one door sill where I had a bad encounter with a very low and hard-to-see wall. I'm in Hulme and on a pretty limited budget but I'm aware that the very cheapest will be a false economy - any bright ideas please, folks?
