There's 2 great car events happening next weekend (6th & 7th June), firstly http://www.therallyshow.org/ then on the Sunday (if you're into Italian machinery) there's http://www.auto-italia.co.uk/events.aspx?m=6&y... which is at Stanford Hall, Leictershire (a couple or so miles from the M6/M1 junction.

I'll bet at Chatsworth for the third year running, well if the tickets every turn up. Are you taking the Lancia?

Yes, the 'grale will be going over, we've got 50 odd Lancia's on our stand with quite a few of us departing at 4 P.M. for www.lanciarally.com

Im headed down to the Italia. Great show, have been for the last 3 years. Last year was rather busy due to Top Gear filming their Alfa event their but I am sure this years show will be just as impressive.

Poor turn out today really apart from the Maseratis (though weather on the way there was horrific, yet it stayed dry in Wigan). A few Lancias but wanted to see more. I spotted yours Lawrence with the young 'un sat inside, I was hoping you'd come back to it, I'd been telling my mate about how it sounded (from the vid you posted somewhere).

HI'ya John,
I was back & forth, shame we missed eachother. You mentioned the weather (!) Chatsworth was a wash out which was a real shame, although the drive from Chatsworth down to Hinckley for the over night halt before Auto Italia was done via a tulip road book (Jordan navigated all of the way without getting lost, the 1st time on tulips) with some "making headway" driving with other like minded individuals, a short video will be posted up soon although there's a selection of photos here http://www.lawrencecliftphotography.co.uk/30360/in... . Drop me a PM as I've just had a look at your profile and it would be good to meet up.

Not if you think I've still got the Integrale hehe PM me anyway though if you want the story.

The Stratos was leaving just as I arrived which was a bugger.

Stanford Hall was a bit of a wash out. Drove down on the Sunday and do not blame owners for not coming along, weather was horrible.

Some nice Abarths on show.

Chatsworth was a wash out, we got there first thing and trudged around in the rain. Went back to the car for lunch and decided we'd had enough.

A real shame, as last year had sunshine and we spent the afternoon sat on a rug watching the cars / world go by...

Better luck next time!
