Traffic/Roadworks Heads Up: M60 Anti-Clockwise
Discussion
Since the collapse of the road that leads into Regent Crescent access of The Traffic Centre traffic around this area is shocking.
As you leave the slip road at J10 (Chill Factore ski slope) the three lanes are down to one.
Traffic is queuing pretty much constantly over Barton Bridge and from/back as far as J15 sometimes.
It doesn't ease off after the M602/M62/M60 split either if you're coming from that side, ie: Birch, Simister Island, Whitefield, Etc.
If you have to go anti-clockwise to that area then I'd allow lots of extra time and exit M60 at J9 (Urmston) and come back round the other way through either TC car parks or past ASDA/Barton Square.
Failing that come off at J13 (Worsley) and cut through Eccles, etc.
Hope it helps someone as it will be a few days before the road is sorted and I was stuck in it for 45 mins this morning.
