Someone please tell me they don't work!

50mph through the roadworks, passed under the M55 and noticed some cameras on top of the matrix signs. Are these just monitoring the traffic flow or are they speedtraps.

I was doing over 50!

sorry they are live and they are specs did you speed all the way though?

there are 2 cameras covering the entry onto the M6 there are then 4 cameras covering the end of the roadworks before it goes back to NSL

The speed limit signs have been removed though......

I was thinking that maybe over the bank holiday they have stopped the roadworks to prevent the bottlenecks that usual occur southbound on a bank holiday evening. Would make sense.

If this isnt the case, then i'll have a NIP in no time LOL

I drove through there recently - and from what I saw I'm pretty sure they were offline.

So now you can relax - until the NIP drops on your doormat tongue out

I thought i saw 50 mph signs yesterday evening BUT, i used to work in that side of the construction industry and 9 times out of 10, they never used to bother with cameras - hence why i wasn't taking much notice.

If they're SPECS, i might be ok. Got lumbered in the slow lane because of a National Express coach driver thinking he was Jenson Button so my average speed through the section should probably be under 50.
