Round 3 of FKS this Weekend in North Wales

In 2009 Elliott Griffiths is competing in the the FKS British Championship (http://www.formulakartstars.com) and Round 3 will be held over the weekend of May 16th/17th at the picturesque location of Glan-Y-Gors in North Wales.
At this event, Elliott Griffiths and Andrew Scales Racing will be racing to raise awareness of and money for Claire House and Childrens' Hospices throughout the UK.
Claire House cares for children aged 0 to 18 with life-limiting/life-threatening conditions from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man. The charity provides specialist respite care, palliative and terminal care and bereavement and family support for the whole family in a home from home environment where the needs of the children and their families come first. (Charity Registration No 1004058).
We are delighted that FKS have agreed to support this initiative and to help promote fund raising and awareness through the weekend. Elliott's kart will carry promotional livery and during the weekend the team will don special event teamwear to help raise awareness. On Sunday, information leaflets will be distributed and a collection around the venue will take place during the lunch break.
Please feel free to come along and support Elliott but, most of all, please contribute to help this very special charity - they have to raise voluntary funds of over £180,000 a month just to keep going - a staggering amount and particularly demanding in the current economic conditions.
