Give us a clue on food preferences and budget and you might get something more useful than MacDonalds in Didsbury.

No real budget in mind , dont mind spending some £££ suppose £150 for 2 would be my max ?

neither of us will be drinking (as flying out at 6am)

food wise anything apart from indian would be considered.

thanks

No, thank you wink. Apparently Greens over the road from Lime Tree is great too if you don't mind veggie for a change.

You'll definitely need to book.

Trafford Centre - nooooo! Go into Manchester instead, it's great for shopping

Yep. Also I've heard good things about Casa Tapas in Didsbury, or there's Yang Sing in town.

loads of good places, but I like Obsidian (Manchester city centre) (modern surroundings) good food and excellent service. http://www.obsidianmanchester.co.uk/

Michael Caines at Abode is reputed to be the best restaurant for fine dining in Manc, but I have never been. I am surprised by the amount of recommendations for Piccolinos considering its basically just a chain, but again... never been. There are some really good restaurants in Hale e.g. Hale Kitchen, Dee Thai etc. Tampopo in Manc is also meant to be good.
