Calling all from Cumbria / NE /Borders / North England!

Hi all,
Just want to let you all know about know about this bank holiday weekend - 3rd / 4th May.
Straightliners are at Kirkbride Airfield in Cumbria this weekend doing a 'Run what you brung' for any cars and bikes.
I am going with a number of people and if it's a good turnout they will be back again on a regular basis, which would be great for us here in the north without easy access to the southern drag strips! - Hence why I'm trying to gee everyone up!
It's about £30 for unlimited 1/4 mile runs and you can enter any car or bike you want.
Make sure you bring a helmet and driving licence but I think thats about all you need!

My girlfriend will be running her Polo GTI for a laugh and I will be running a ZX7R!
Apparently it's not just for road legal vehicles, some people are taking mad stuff like Autograss Stock cars and 250cc gearbox karts etc! Should be a spectacle!
But best check with Trevor before making the trip as I personally don't know the do's and dont's of this event.
