It seems to just randomly happen once or twice a year. Someone posts a thread, theres 5-6 pages of people arguing over dates they can and can't make because of their daughters orthadontist's dog's worming appointment, whether they have any intention of actualy going or not. Then someone suggests that some unspecified person should actualy pick a phone up and book something, at which point the thread goes 
for a few weeks. Then there's another round of date negotiations as the original date no longer suits somebody, and then, finally, we go for a f
king curry.
