Who is from this area on here then?

I'm from Morecambe, and i know R99 is just up the road but are there any others?

If there are a few of us it would be good to meet up at a nice pub in the Lakes somewhere?

I'm from Morecambe.
Think I spoke to you on the MLR about buying an Evo.

In the end I bought an FN2.

I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Did you go for that nice Championship White one in Lancaster Honda?

No.
Its a silver 57 reg.
Got it for a very good price and its mint with lots of extras.

I was actually on the point of buying a very nice Impreza STI when I saw the CTR and realised it was a bargain.

I went into Lancaster Honda to look at the CW Civic, looked all around it, sat inside it...and was completely ignored by the salesmen. I don't like them to be pushy but they could at least offer any advice or help.
I'd also emailed about a black Type R they had and tried to arrange a test drive but they didn't even reply.

So I went elsewhere.

I know, a friend of mine threatened to call the police for harassment when they phoned him six times in 24hrs after he'd been to view a car. They used to phone me every week after I test drove an Integra Type R a few years ago.
The bike side was the same, it was hard work doing a deal with them...and the mechanics were clowns, tried to tell me my bike had cam chains when its gear driven.

Apparantly they've changed a lot of staff and maybe changed their attitude a bit.
Its the first time I've been in for a couple of years after swearing I'd never do business with them again.

I am just up the Lune Valley, near the yorkshire/lancs/cumbria border. Will definitely come for a meet once my kit car is finished.

By the way, sorry I didn't reply to your question about somewhere else to eat in Kirkby - you picked a good un though - the Sun Inn is definitely one of the better places around for a meal, really nice atmosphere. Next time around you could do well to try the Lunesdale Arms about five minutes down the road.

Hi All PHers

I have read your threads, and have had same from Lancaster Honda. Test drove a S2000 and got alot of hassle - lol. Bought an Audi TT 225 instead. Also have a Honda FRV which goes there for servicing - got a jibe for being a bit "gay" for driving a TT Roadster.

Anyway - I live in Morecambe also - drive an Olive Green 225 Roadster with 18" RS4s in Anthracite. Would welcome a run out with PH buddies anytime

Bring On the Summer I say !!!!
