Looking for somewhere near Warrington or Manchester that supplies and fits speeed camera detectors, not had one before so recommendations of type of detectors would be appreciated as well.

Cheers

I would go for the GPS mirror and fit it yourself. Not the cheapest, but simple to fit and leave in car (or swap to other cars) and has free updates for life. Extra wide rear view is useful as well, plus you don't get distracted by having to look anywhere else but forwards and in your mirror.

Also integrates wirelessly with additional 'parking sensors' which block laser guns biggrin

Can show you the full system fitted at the next PH Northwest meet.

Where's best place to buy this and have it fitted/hardwired in/parking sensor thingy included? Does the mirror detach? Does the power cable detach from mirror so mirror can be removed from car?

Would be great if you've got any spare time for me to look at it? Could meet somewhere up East Lancs?

Cheers in advance :-)

Well I bought mine from Navtel when they had an offer on, but price has gone up again since (lots more info on their website) but worth shopping around. http://www.navtel.co.uk/product.php?xProd=83&x...

Nothing to fit for the mirror - it just clips over your existing mirror and plugs in to 12v socket. Easy to route cable around windscreen or hard wire into interior light feed. More choices for the other stuff (detectors / jammers) as it integrates wirelessly with a few decent systems. Anywhere that fits hi-fi or other ICE should be able to install easily.

I may be at Pennington Flash tomorrow if you are around.
