Need a cylinder head skimming Manchester area

Does anyone know where I can get a cylinder head skimmed in the Manchester area, my usual place has closed down and ive got one that needs doing asap. Prefer cheap as chips but willing to pay a little more if its a reputable firm.

If that fails you could try Ric Wood at Davenport, Stockport, ...... he would do it, but may be more expensive .... His number is 0161 483 4810.

Excellent, they have been there for years, and know exactly what the job is about. John is in his seventies now, & doesn't look any older than fifties, .... I'm sure you will find them helpful!! Howard

Got the head skimmed, told them Howard reccomended them which was greated with a warm smile. 100% knew what he had done, could tell the head had been skimmed before and not a lot of places can tell that nowadays, thanks for the reccomendation.
