Old Satellite Gear

I don't suppose anybody not too far from Oldham has any old analogue satellite tv reception gear lying around that they don't want anymore? Receiver, dish or lnb? I'm willing to part with a few sheckles if necessary.

It's so I can watch Eurosport whilst at Le Mans this year. There is some stuff on Ebay but the postage kills it.

There are some mobile sat dishes on ebay with ok postage. Or, why not ask JP if you can borrow his.

We've still got a dish on the side of the house, you're welcome to it. Not sure if it's too big though.

Thanks for the offer Kirsty. How far from Oldham are you? Do you know what size it is? I think 60 or 80cm is what I need. If it was definitely for the old analogue system it should be fine.

I still might have to pass if I've got to start climbing ladders to retrieve it. I tried to clean my gutters last year and ended up getting a mate to do it because I chickened out!

Hi, give me a few days, and I'll search for the remote, but I'm not too confident I still have it, ....... I did a lot of work on my house last year, & had a big clear out, but ..... I'll look. Cheers Howard
