Fancy a pint

Anyone fancy a meet next weekend (Sat or Sun)? My intention would be to have a run out to Hawes & find a place for a pint & a chinwag.

Me and Diane could be tempted to join you. Had a good run out that way about 4 weeks ago. We went Blackburn to Clitheroe, then B6478 and eventually to Devils Bridge and then on to Hawes. Good cafe there too, friendly prices. From Hawes onto Settle and Gisburn then home...

What day suits you best?

The route that I had in mind was:-
A59 to Skipton/B6265 to Grassington/B6160 up to A684 then Hawes. From there head towards Ribblehead Viaduct then onto Hornby and the Trough of Bowland or Quernmore, see how the weather/light is, but saying that it's the shortest day of the year on Sunday.

Anyone else fancy coming along?

As a word of warning guys, now that you've advertised a possible run out watch out for the coppers. People have been caught out like this before. It's better to email each other directly whenever possible.

The forecast for Saturday seems the best day (heavy showers are forecast for Sunday), so we'll go for Saturday if that's O.K.? Meet at the McDonald's on the A59 West of Clitheroe for 10A.M. Can you mail me back on here just to confirm numbers please? Thanks.
