oh man, after looking at 340r's you've gone and bought a vauxhall lol
how are you enjoying it after the porker? pretty quick?
still got the 996 but tracking it was becoming a little expensive!! hence the vxt how are you enjoying it after the porker? pretty quick?
standard it was a bag of ste,but after some coilovers and better brakes and tyres its transformed
how long do you get for £25 instruction, either me (with strongbow) or the website for oulton is crap to navigate, is it worth a novice having a go at this one? wouldn't mind having another go before the frost really sets in, good price as well
watch out for the guy with the crosser helmet, he means business !

you will get long enough with the instructor, prob about 20 mins on track.watch out for the guy with the crosser helmet, he means business !
Thereis a few vx 220s going so i am sure you will be flying past us all in your REAL car
if you worried about the novice bit there will be plenty of people who have been before to either let you follow them to learn lines or passenger you
Mind you,if the carpet jobs as bad as the window job at the mo,we'll only be able to afford the juice for a few laps

just a quick question.
never done a track day, always wanted to. Ive got an 87 mr2 1.6 16v which im reluctant to use as its in very good cond. and id be afraid of binning it! my other option is my cheap as chips city runabout - fiat seicento sporting 1.1 - its as slow as you imagine but fun round corners - would i just be eaten up alive againt a mix of porsches and bmws? I imagine id be better off on a tight twisty track as opposed to a faster one.
Then again its not about racing other people is it, its about being as good as you are and learning. but still, id look like a bit of a pillock sat in a 500 quid 1.1 lol

get yourself there, one of the good things about driving a "slowish" car is you will get to learn the lines of the track a hell of a lot easier than somebody in a quicker car as you have a lot more time to think.plus you will find the limits of the car befor you find yourown, where many people in the quicker stuff drive far beyond there ability and get themselves in a right messnever done a track day, always wanted to.
