Guys, I am (very) amateur photographer but I am desperate to learn more and develop some skills that will help me take the 'perfect' picture. Would anybody be interested in perhaps arranging a meet in the Manchester/Northwest area? I am open to suggestions as to what the subject should be.

I think maybe get a Northwest PH meet going, then any like minded photographers can make a bit of a group shoot out of it? Hows about it? Failing that, when racing kicks of, how about A NWPH run to oulton park???

I work very close to Oulton Park and if the offer of prof shots is knocking about I would love to get some of my Williams.

Did this ever get off the ground? I'm in Crewe and wouldn't mind getting my 328 out for some arty shots of her somewhere nice.

So very interested....

Oooo, this would be fab! Just getting into photography, and I think actually getting together with others to get tips would help immensely, count me in.

Tatton park is good - lots of open space, bits of hard standing & scenery (only problem is the entrance fee)

I know a photostudio that has full car access if your interested in the Nottingham area, depending on what your lookin at shooting. Alternatvley theres Chatworth and Peak District if you wan to try your luck with the weather.

A night time shoot regardless of the weather will always looks good down at Salford Keys with the buildings lit up in the background. Failing that, a park that's central to everyone (Tatton's already been nominated) would be good, it'll also keep the family happy if they're in tow!

Some of you may be aware that I'm a pro snapper and I'm willing to help out with any technical issues if I'm available that is.
