These are some photos after I'd had the VX detailed at the week end by Scott from obsessive car detailing (Bolton)

He uses a very expensive gauge to measure thickness and number of coats of paint before using a polisher or any treatments.
The wax he finished off with was £500 and the jar sits in the palm of your hand!
I must point out that I'm not involved with this company in any way. I've just been a very satisfied customer a on a few occasions.

Hi Geoff ... small world - thanks for the post

Gary: The vehicle had paint correction done to it around nine months ago and will be done again just before Spring next year ready for summer although only requiring a gentle refinish. This is because Vauxhall paint marks easily and Geoff is still honing his washing technique ... so some swirling has started to appear but even so the car still looks fantastic.

On my last visit the wheels were removed and treated inside / out... calipers were cleaned and painted... wheel arches full cleaned and treated... leather trim was treated... roof was renovo'd and a maintenance detail including this LSP upgrade: http://www.zymol.co.uk/zymoldestinyglaze8oz.aspx
