Hi guys,

I am going to stay with a mate at the weekend, he always says he see lots of nice motors around the area especially in Alderley Edge etc. Now does anybody know of any showrooms/areas which are worth a look?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers
Adam

I'd recommend going for a drink and something to eat on London Road (Alderley Edge). We've been going every other weekend since January this year and every time I've spotted some great cars just on that road alone including a yellow F50. biggrin That's if it's not raining however. And if you're an Aston fan then the Aston dealer in Wilmslow is worth a visit, they're very friendly there and sometimes have a DBS parked outside.

There are loads of flash motors around this whole area, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Alderley Edge... You've got the Bentley garage on the Wilmslow road to Knutsford, the Rolls showroom in Knutsford centre, then there are a few garages on the airport side of Wilmslow too, Lambo for one I think? If you are into bikes the Ducati store is five minutes outside Knutsford, on the A50 heading for the M6/Thelwell Viaduct.

To be honest if you just wander around you'll see plenty nice motors anyway, there are several Murcies, and Gallardos about, loads of Astons, Bentleys, a couple of nice Maseratis and a white Ford GT.

Christopher Jackson in Alderley Edge usually has some nice stuff in.
The Porsche dealers between Handforth and Wilmslow is worth a look, and the Aston Martin dealers in Wilmslow already mentioned is always worth a look.
Your best bet is to sit outside one of the bars opposite the Aston Martin dealers, theres always plenty of nice cars driving up and down the high street.

ETA - You could also take a short trip to Stockport to the Lamborghini dealers

As has been said, I particularly enjoy sitting in the bar across the road from the Aston dealers on a warm summers evening.

Stockport Lamborghini is also worth a mention.

Another vote for Chris Jackson.

Great dealer and nice cars.

Have bought an X5 and an XK8 Convertible from him in the past.

Christopher Neil at Northwich - not quite the area maybe.

Is Stratton still there?

I know Stratstone Ferrari shut down and moved into Manchester city centre and last i remember was that Morris Homes had bought that place as an office.

Theres an independant place as well in Wilmslow, I pass it some days when I decide to go up the A34 instead of the M6. Its at the junction of the B5086 and B5085.

There is a car wash type place on Wilmslow Road A6010 opposite Platt Lane that rents out supercars. They usually have a line of nice motors parked outside the front. (Its between Fallowfield and Rusholme).

Have seen:

Lamborghini Gallardo
Lamborghini Murcielago (but not for a while, and never on rental)
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Ferrari F430 Spider
Brabus D6 (Merc S-Class Brabus time!)
Overfinch Range Rover
Kahn Sport Range (possibly, didnt get a good enough look)
Audi RS4 Roadster
Audi Q7 4.2 Sportline
Audi R8

there are lots of cars, stock changes but the Aston, Gallardo are pretty much always there.

This might be Damon Hill's P1 club or rather the "Northern" branch, although I thought it was based in Middlewich on Sanderson Way?
