After being forced into a stone bank at the side of a road today, I now need to get my alloys refurbed.

Does anyone know anywhere around here that will do them well, but also not to the extent of breaking the bank?

Cheers.

Hey there, Quick Fit in St Helens do a pretty good job and at a reasonable price, my friend had his FRP wheels refurbed and resprayed (17's), and they were in a really bad way) for around 50 quid a wheel.

I got a quote for my monzas (15's) to be refurbed and resprayed black for 140 for 4, i thought it was quite reasonable.

If they are no go, http://www.diamond-wheels.net/ located in Stockport are rated.

Hope this helps

What happened to force you into the bank?

Typical story of someone driving a car so big, that they can't keep it on their side of the road. I was over to my side enough that it only took a slight movement of the wheel and i'd kerbed the alloy and torn a chunk out of my front tyre.

Ouch - some people really do need to re-take their test! Hopefully, it'd take a lot of the nobbers off the road!
