Afternoon all,
I'm going to be moving to Cheshire (Sandbach) from Nottinghamshire in the next few weeks (assuming nothing goes wrong!); can anyone tell me if there are any good car meets in the area? Near where I live in Notts there is generally a classic car meet or similar at least once a fortnight.
Cheers

TVRCC do for starters? Follow this link for that and a few more.

Classics are a big area - can you narrow it down a bit? The show season is slowing down now so it's more marque specific club meeting from now on - unless you want a PH style everyone welcome tyre kick.

Keep your eyes peeled on this forum for days out.

Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting on the bank holiday weekend would be a great place to make a start - plenty of car clubs there.

Bit of a trek maybe, but our monthly NW Wheatsheaf meet is a good mix of cars with a drive out smile

www.scoobysmacs.co.uk

whilst predominately Subarus there is a wealth of other performance cars, Focus St's, Clio 197's etc and the odd TVR

A really good club with age ranges from 21 to 45+ so as you cam gather we're not really into the cruise/burnouts culture.

E-mail Chris Wilkinson - top bloke who runs the club and see if its your cup of tea and he will explain what its all about, the only fee is a quid on the footy card every month (which i have yet to win lol)

Oh and we meet 1st Thursday of each month at the Unicorn in Wilmslow.

I 'do the sheaf', I'm just near you over in Alsager. It takes about 45 mins to get up there from here so it's not too bad and well worth the journey.

I nearly moved to Sandbach, house fell through and I'm in Macc. instead. Sandbach is ok, a bit quiet possibly but access to Wales or Peaks is handy enough, and Crewe is minutes away for shopping if you don't like Waitrose smile If thats possible.
