Wheatsheaf/Southport Run - Thur 26th June 7pm

Well, it's nearing the monthly meet so I thought it best to put some details up!

As it's the longest meet day of the year, we're doing a run over to Southport with a stop off for fish and chips before returning to the Wheatsheaf for a drink and tyre kicking session.

Due to the nature of the run with the food stop, please can we all be at the Wheatsheaf as close to 7pm as possible, we will be leaving promptly at 7.30pm.
I'll provide directions and map on the night to avoid any unwanted interest in the run!


Due to the route being a bit different I'd like to suggest a few things:

1. before we leave the pub, work out who is behind you

2. ensure that you don't leave a junction until you know the person behind knows which direction to go

3. if you're not doing the full route, please stay to the back of the convoy to avoid confusion

4. If anyone has walkie talkies please bring them along


For those who've not been before . . Wheatsheaf postcode is WA11 7TA, and there's a Tesco Petrol station on the A580 just south of the pub if you need to fuel for the run.
There's generally a good few passenger seats available if anyone's not keen on driving themselves.
