Best hotel that is close (but not too close) with safest parking you will ever get is the de Vere @ Wychwood Park. They do great deals at weekend, but not sure how much midweek.

Agreed, you don't really want to be leaving your car IN Stoke overnight if you can help it.

Wychwood Park is very secure (I live there) as it has 24/7 security and gated access to the whole park (and Golf Club) or Crewe Hall is also close which is a bit nicer as a hotel although probably more expensive.

If you stay in Crewe hall it has a Brasserie on site called 'Pi R Squared' which is usually pretty good in a 'trendy' way. Nantwich has a good restaurant called The Residence. If you stay at Wychwood there is a great pub in Betley called the Hand and Trumpet for good traditional food.
