Recent 'Ring visit

A couple of dodgy shots of AngeloftheNorth doing a bit of overtaking on the infamous Nurburgring a few days ago. Those of you who attended the recent Trough of Bowland run may well have met her.

Only just seen these, how was the trip? Did you make it to Reims too?

How did the 'Ring compare with our sedate jaunt round the Forest of Bowland?

Hi Ed, as you can see we did make it to the old Reims circuit. There were more buildings left than we thought, well worth the visit. From Reims we spent 2 days in the Vosges - we searched out the Route des Cretes and spent the day tearing up and down mountains. 'Course, nothing compares to the now infamous Forest of Bowland run...

Sounds like a good trip, the pits at Reims are pretty atmospheric, me & the missus enjoyed exploring them last year on our Eurohoon.

BTW I'm going to be putting together another sedate run out to sample some more local(ish) lanes soon, so keep your eyes peeled if you want to join in.
