Kirsty,
Do you know which chippy we'll be taking over? When you're out on the recce, how about trying 1 or 2 out, just as a comparison of course. That way we could let them know of the numbers before we set off so that they could have the grub ready for us? On a side note, good to meet up with you (again)yesterday, I may be bringing my "other half" along for the June meet, although I may have to gag & blindfold her as she's forever nagging, can you believe that???

Well, we might have to have a few trial runs of the route! Although, I'm sure Scottie said he was a regular at the chippies in Southport!
Not a bad call on the pre warning them, I'll organise that.
Was a fantastic day out yesterday . . . what happened to the pic of Jordan with all the fit girls? I was winding Jaik up about it!!

I hope Louise doesn't read this! Or is this related to a certain conversation yesterday?kirsty-SC said:

The good news is that I have never had a bad fish and chips in Southport, and food is a subject close to my heart :-)If you know where the Carousel and arcade are, near the start of the pier, then there is a good place here, lots of seats but fairly expensive, popular wih the bikers. If you walk from the Carousel across the road to the centre, then the chippy on your left was the one that won best Fish and Chips shop in Lancashire a few years ago.
A lot of these places are take away though. I think a lot of the eat in ones may be shut at this time on a Thursday evening. There are lots of nice gardens nearby for eating though, providing it's dry!!
As you continue down this road towards the centre there is another one on your right on a corner, perhaps about 30 seats that does a great fish/chips/peas/bread/tea meal offer, and is very good.
They are three that have provided good food over the years, and are near all the parking meters which are free after either 6 or 7pm at night.
Made myself hungry now, might have to go and test them again...
