so long as the weathers not shocking ill be having another blast out if anyone fancys it?

usual sort of route through the peaks.

starting at the winking man pub inbetween leek and buxton at 4:30 for a 5pm depart.

couple of rules

1. no stupid overtaking moves. if you think your holding someone up signal to let them pass at a convient place.

2. to save people getting lost if you are about to turn off somewhere make sure there is someone in the convoy behind you (unless you are at the back) this way no one should miss there turn off and it takes the pressure off people not knowing where they are going.

couple of vids from the last run (thanks andy)

I'll come, weather permitting. Might even have had my tracking done by then.. I can try the cam on top of the rollbar, instead of underneath and see if that gives a better view. It might just get covered with flies tho..

Have you done anything with your brakes yet?

Andy..

had some decent pads, braided lines and some fresh 5.1 dot brake fluid done. still bedding them in at the mo but seem to be having trouble with the rears as they are only wearing on the outside of the disc and squeal a bit. if you look at the rear disc you can see where its not making contact and the outside edge is going bluey (brand new rear discs) as if there getting hot.

going to take it back to the garage tomorrow.

ill update the list.

Dam, I'm away that weekend. Let me know when there's another one planned. I pick up an Elise S2 this weekend, so if I can convince my girl friend to turn up to a future peaks hoon we'd be able to add an Elise and a scooby to the convoy.

Have a good time, I'm going to be out for a play in my new toy this weekend bounce

Just a quick heads up for you guys, that weekend is the Rally Show at Chatsworth house, so you may want to attend or steer clear because of the extra traffic on the roads.

Have fun either way!

went for the run last sunday and been thinking about a couple of changes.

first one is the time. would anyone have any objections to doing a late run, say meet at 4:30 and leave at 5 for the run. reason is all day sunday i was stuck in traffic and it was crap until i was heading back home at about 6 and there was no traffic on the roads at all.

second thing was the meeting place, if we start later it might be better to be closer to the best roads and work around there totally avoiding chatsworth all together. was thinking of meeting at the winking man pub inbetween leek and buxton like we have done before.

any thoughts?

are you sure it's not cause you've noticed the gp starts at 5? rolleyes i don't actually mind, just say where and when and i'll b there. You've even shamed me into buying some new bonnet locks for my car since you have done so much to your brakes. i might even have put them on by then... the only real problem i see with going later is i really will have to sort my headlights out! by the way, are you new brakes better?
