well i picked my new car up today and need to take her for good run. we will be meeting at the olde house in chesterfield at 10 with a 10:30 depart. postcode is S40 4RN.

going on a set route but wont have chance to do directions etc.

couple of rules i want to put in place.

1. no stupid overtaking moves. if you think you holding someone up signal to let them pass at a convient place.

2. to save people getting lost if you are about to turn off somewhere make sure there is someone in the convoy behind you (unless you are at the back) this way no one should miss there turn off and it takes the pressure off people not knowing where they are going.

if the weather is really rubbish then i will cancel.

didnt notice that to be honest but having alook at it its abit far away. about a 2 hours drive so i would have to set off at about 7:30 :0

ill be out for a blat either way so long as the weather is ok just wondered if anyone fancyed joining me while the weathers good.

just wants to say abig thanks to andy and hope you got home ok. had a great day, on some great roads with great company.

managed to really test the car out and found the brakes need attention but other than that the car was faultless and really getting the hang of it.

I got to my nans fine, just followed the signs and I was there in 20 mins or so. I had a great time, on some really good roads that I'd never of found, with really good company, thanks! I'm just trying to get some of the video onto the computer so I can put it on the net. Unfortunatley we seem to have rather a lot of us just stuck in traffic!

thanks for taking the time todo those vids andy.

the sound seems better on some proper speakers but still room for improvement. camera seems to be in a good position, only problem is wingmirror can block view sometimes.

nice to actually see how well the mini held up against the westy. quite surprised really.
