Any one else going along?

Dave (Flatpack) and I headed up last month in the Striker, and quite fancy it again this month.

I think its really a NORLOG Lotus meet, but there was other stuff there too last month!

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... and on the regular meets Wiki if you can find it!

Nice car park for good weather, lot of grass area to sit on, and the bar staff bring the coffee out to you! smile

Kirsty (et al), The Watermillock was a winter location for our 1st Weds night meets. The summer location (May to Sept) is at The Boatyard in Houghton, near Preston. It is 400 yds of J3 of the M65, so maybe even easier for you to get to.

Please don't turn up at The Watermillock as there won't be anyone there. OK, there might, but no-one interesting smile

Hmmmm, sorry I think we'll give this a miss as it's a lot further than I'd expected.

I thought you were in Warrington? If so, its quicker to get to The Boatyard than Watermillock.

But the Striker's no fun on the motorway. I like fun roads, not 45mins on the motorway.

A49 no good? You could head up to Standish then cut across to Chorley and Brinscall along some cracking roads.

Thanks for the suggestion, biut by the time we're back from work etc, it's just a little too far for a week night.

Damn, I did the lawn last night as well, and now it's moved location to further away!

I can't make it either to this new location, am playing footie first, could have just made the other one for 8pm, but I agree with Kirsty, motorway is no fun!

Ah crumbs, if I had seen this earlier I would have come for a nosey.
Live just a few mins away from the Boatyard and was there on Monday, really nice pub

When did you get the mini?

And you're planning to break down again in August?

Such organisation would make Stalin proud!

Yep that's one Russ Treasure's cars, being driven by Dave, one of his employees - Russ himself was at the Boatyard in his silver Gaylardy Spider www.lambogenie.com
