alloy machining?????

Anybody know of a company who could turn a custom crank pulley out of alloy?

I should think it depends lots on where you are.
Yellow pages are good. We have a few places around here (south of london). If it's a small one, you might even find someone who could knock it together in their shed.

I have a mate who works for C Rice Engineering in Stockport - got him on messenger right now giving me too much info.
Anyway he says
a)'It'd be much better if he got an oversized one, brought it to us, and we modify it'
b)'probably £50 for labour and whatever the material costs are' if from scratch.

HTH and don't quote me on the pricing - I don't think the charges are up to him.
