That looks good. Think I'll give this a try, I normally take the little one (only infatn school age) to watch at Oulton Park, but he loves Blackpool so we will head up to this.

I know Blackpool ish but whereabouts am I best heading to park and watch these stahes, are they spread out a lot. Pontins is South towards Lytham isn't it, and the Shipwreck North Shore near Gynn Square?

Any help appreciated.

Anyone else going?

Fire up the RWD :-)

For the morning you want to park near the Hilton Hotel- its any of the lower section of the prom after the Metropole (North Pier) upto Gynn roundabout.

Pontins is the other direction, a bit past the pleasure beach, on the A584. Parking will be a nightmare, espec around Pontins.

Thanks, just been looking at the timetables, and routes. Seen some pics, didn't realise they acutally raced down the lower prom bit, there's not much room for error there :0)

I'll keep my eye out for other PHer's.

Cheers for the info on this. Not really got a clue where I'm going/where to park but I've got more of an idea now.

I saw quite a few classic rally cars on my way to work today, mostly around Weeton army camp.Nice to see them on the roads,I didnt realise so many older ones were still around.

That was great fun. Young Ted loved stading at the start line for the Prom stages, and shoutign Fire Up The Quattro, and then along comes an original Quattro with the phrase across his sunstrip :-)

The Pontins stages where good, it was brilliant seeing all sorts of 6R4's and Cossies etc sliding around between buildings!!

Would recommend this to anyone for next time.
