Joined a while ago and only met a couple of people from PH.

I have now sorted out a motor and am currently waiting for the good weather to return so I can go out for some blasts and meet up with the PH-NW members.

What/where are the PH NW regular meets over the summer months? Any frequent currys/beers take place, most commonly used roads for blasts?

I am located nr Knutsford in Cheshire but originally from Bentham which is a small North Yorkshire village about 3 miles from Ingleton which intern is about 12 miles from Hawes and some of the best driving roads in England (IMHO).

Look forward 2008 and Happy New Year to all.

Watch this space for runs around the Peak District, there is a 'monthly' run/westfield tyrekicking coz it's damp wink at Rainsford and another regular meet in Yorshire at the Globe in Huddersfield.
Have you considered the local Lotus owners group? The TVR monthly gathering at Little Bollington is very friendly and doesn't mind 'outsiders' crashing their jolly. Expect beards/mighty tales of sideways and project bores with chassis no1 that they are building from a lollypop stick and some sticky backed plastic wink

Yep, I am all registered and chatting away with the NW Lotus club so will no doubt go along to a couple of meets with those chaps this year. I just wanted to find out what happens with the PH-NW

I'm up that way if you're ever near the Three Peaks.

Yeah, I head up that way every couple of months so next time I am up that way a good old blast around Ingleton, Settle, Horton etc could be a good run

Anyway, Chim long gone, (Purple???) 3 series long gone, now in a sensible 5 series diesel so won't be scaring anyone! If the weather's nice might use Lisa's A4 conv though, nice 3 litre V6 biggrin

It was actually a 330 clubsport in Estoril Blue which for some reason Lois thought looked purple. I think it was those dodgy lights in the underground car parks at the Traffic Centre. Either that or she's been working too hard....................................................It'll be the lights then biggrin
