Thanks Ian,it was advertised in the sprint mag.Went there today wednesday, its in a interesting part of Wallasey.
Interesting in what way?May go there when the time arrives for mine to be rebuilt-soon!-how much dollar are they asking (just to give me an idea and prepare me for more wallet beating)
Dave.
a dedicated tvr/lotus specialist more tvr based is near me trackvroad.co.uk, when you ask why your car is not ready after service to be told that the wheels are not finished being cleaned, you are on to a sure fire winner, its less than an hour from cheshire and honestly would say the service and workmanship is second to none, Even if i lived in london i would make the trip to see these guys,
I'm very very very picky and believe that when shelling my hard earned cash I want the best, its getting to the point where I don't feel the need to get a written quote, just because I know their work is straight....... It sounds like I'm kissing some arse but they are really that good !
Job sorted !
edited to say ... weirdly is cheaper than the useless main stealers and my spelling and grammar may be shit but hey its 8.30pm on a sat night

Have not had the chance to go back and collect yet, hope to do so this friday if its ready. Cost wise will let you know the final bill, but as a guide i was quoted £125 labour to strip/and rebuild plus the cost of any bearings/oil seals. Mine was in pretty good condition just a very small but annoying oil seal leak which was spraying oil everywhere so decided to get it checked/overhauled and renew 3 no oil seals. By interesting i mean dont go there when its dark and dont leave your car for too long. Its not that bad just not what i was expecting. I had many good times as a youngster at new brighton but alas that was many years ago.

Ahhh! I see!Agree with the New Brighton bit....don`t things change? In fact, went to visit a girl (now married), nay, woman, a few years ago who had set up a small business in Bebington, remembering how absolutely gorgeuois she was back in the late 70s. Think we both got a bit of a fright, lets say.....spent some good evenings with her all those years back, thought she might just retain what she had then. Hey ho!
Cheers...
Dave.
