Black tie do needed...

Promised a friend who's in dire need of a party after a few months of hell that I'd find a decent black tie bash to go to either between next Wed. and Christmas, or in the week or two from the 25th Jan onwards.
Anybody know of any good ones... be it Bond themed balls, "posh comedy" nights, or anything else? If there's anything in Manchester then great. Leeds/London/anywhere would do, though.
(I'm out of the country from Christmas to 25th Jan, so any New Years dos, etc. are out

I could try... but a black tie affair with 2 people is a bit of a poor show... I'm unpopular in Cheshire and have no friends here. *sobs*

ooooo now that would have been far better than "Black Tie and Manchester - because manchester's better than pie" 
It was fantastic! Especially when I had to walk into the hotel with Nonegreen and pretended to be a hooker in the lift, the poor guy in there didn't know where to look muhahahaha!!!

TVR with personalised numberplate on the M60 last saturday
At the Bredbury junction, you accelerated into a gap in front of us as we joined on the funny lane on the right (Blue 206, sister driving).

Not too sure about the "accelerated" bit - Tivvy's engine is poorly at the mo and I only get to use the top 1/2" of the throttle or the S6 death rattle drowns out the exhaust. <vixpy mode> So, your sister...

Actually in truth the guy looked very sheepish when I implied I had paid Lo a large sum of money for unspecified services. When we got out of the lift though she gave the game away and giggled so he prolly thought what a pair of t

bingo! got just the thing for you old boy - black tie do for team ham @ koko in camden on 1st Feb http://www.koko.uk.com/ northern line from your usual haunt to mornington crescent easy does it, and 25 girls from Nuts and Zoo there too! don't know how I manage it sometimes....Anybody know of any good ones... be it Bond themed balls, "posh comedy" nights, or anything else? Yes - we need to chat on that and get something sorted. I'm around all week so give me a bell on either of the '007 numbers whenever's good. Could do with a decent estate agent in Derby recommending, too - decided the apartment's better off sold for this next 2 years.

Yerh and no but yer but thats nothing if you had seen the state of them all at the party in the room afterwards? it was gross like no but yer but,
They even left a bag of chips in a drawer in room 332............
Like coz they where peeved at having to queue for two weeks to sign in..
