Hi bud, its not bad and worth a visit. There are plans to move the exhibition soon but not far away, its a matter of needing more space. I live anout a mile away so have obviously only been once a few years ago. Its almost worth going just to walk around the car park at Holker Hall. Very popular meeting place for classic and modern cars and clubs.
If you are driving a fair distance fit it in with somethingelso such s Cartmel races. Plenty of good cheap accom in the area.

I used to work with a bloke who worked for Donald and I met him and watched bluebird on lake Coniston many times as a kid. To really experience the whole extreem bravery that Campbell demonstrated you need to go to Coniston and take a ride on the steamer then go to the museum and see the size of the craft. I suspect in terms of pure balls we will never see his like again, ever.

RIP cry

The Coniston trip is worth it on its own. I posted a topic in the boats section about the Gondola.

Never walk bud, too many lunatics belting down the road in Jap imports, very dangerous.

And you know if I am walking out of my house I go straight across the road beer
