Allrighty mate, when its not winter there's a meet most months near Rainford which is well worth looking out for - lots of random machinery turns up!

Think I may well have spotted you last week going past Novartis onto
the Ford Road? I was going the other way so did not catch the reg but
there's no mistaking that SP6 sound. Made me miss my Tuscan all over again.

I've probably seen you a few times as I'm often just driving around aimlessly in my Atom.

I'll keep an eye out for you in the future.

I did mean that I drive around a lot as I don't have much else to do during the day.

Unfortunately the Sat Nav doesn't work all the time as the Tom Tom Rider can't seem to cope with having the headset in a helmet, as the wires snapped due to movement of my head, and the actual unit can't cope with vibrations, as the movements make the contacts jump apart causing arcing and pitting resulting in it only work intermittently.

I'm in Southport - now there is a good place to meet up!

I am also a Liverpool Motor Club member and we have regular club nights (i.e. monthly) and would be happy to see some of the PHers attending. If anyone is interested then post on this thread & I'll put the details up.

Sprintman, I'm interested. The only car meets I go to are at the Wiggin Tree on Parbold hill, the last wednesday of every month, though I can only make it there every other month because I work out of the country.

They're generally announced on here as Wheatsheaf meets, as thats the pub where the meet is - just off the rainford bypass. Its usually a thursday night near the end of the month but as its pitch black and raining on a thursday night these days it'll probably be next spring now frown

The Wheatsheaf meets will be back up for spring/ summer (with runs out of course)
Plenty of varied machinery turns up.....So far we've seen my Westfield crew; various Tivs; Atom; Evo; Viper; DB9; GT3; Mr2's; Bowler Wildcat etc.....

No Veyrons yet (But I'm working on that still) and I'd like to see some Fezza and Lambo presence....And an R8 would be bad either
