I am trying to locate a log supplier.

I live in Northwich and am looking to get hold or around 1 ton of logs for my house fire. I know I am rather late in doing this but I have a large storage area for the logs and want to get them in now for the cold winter months.

Any pointers are welcome.

Your best bet is to ring around the local tree surgeons. I did last year and I was rewarded with over four-ton of seasoned hardwood logs delivered FOC....!
Best of luck....

If you have transport and are willing to travel speak to Cholmondeley Estate - c.£80 a ton I think - although that is delivered. I bought 2 loads in the summer. Good stuff.
