Am told they're having a clamp down around here and the Wirral area in general. Supposedly Wednesdays and Thursdays are the days to be more aware.

They were up to the same trick tonight - although it was a dark blue unmarked Vectra. What stopped you - marked car ?

93 doesn't seem ott to me, they normally warn only at this I thought ?

Marked Volvo estate.

I thought I was lucky to get away with 3 points & £60 to be honest. I was well above the commonly spoken about '10% + 2mph'.

Is that just after the big bend? Seen them hiding up there a few times.

Out of interest, how did he get you? Was he using a speed gun or did he follow you?

If it's where I think it is then I imagine they catch quite a lot, it's a fast bit of motorway after the big bend where it turns into 3 lanes.

Yeah, just after the big bend, as it splits into 3. I've never seen them there before, but having spoken to a few people it appears to be a favourite of theirs.

I'm a bit gutted because that bend is quite a lot of fun when taken at the correct speed

He caught me using radar. He probably got me just as my foot was moving to the brake pedal
