Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a nice hotel (4-5 star) country house-type hotel, preferably with a pool, in the Derbyshire, Staffordshire, South Cheshire area?

Looking for somewhere to go with some friends for a weekend break.

theres one in glossop called wind in the willows, never stayed there as its 250 yards up the road but its got a fantastic rep and its at the foot of the snake pass, not sure if its got a pool
