Outdoor World in Warrington, Winfields in Haslingden and Castlecroft leisure in bury all have good tent displays. Outdoor world is probably the cheapest.

I've been looking at the Outdoor World website and it looks like it has the best selection, but it's a bit more than 15 mins drive. I need to get there, look around and back in a lunch break.

You could try Decathlon in Stockport, it's just off J1 of the M60. They have a lot of tents on display. Just purchased my Le Mans home-from-home from there.

There is a cracking place in Northenden. It's just hidden from punters. Stealth marketing technique.
It just off palatine road.

Its just where the "MILL" is in mill lane (right hand middle square)

Loads of tents on display.

Outdoor world in Warrington send spies to look at Camperlands since it is out of their league..........

Get a Two or Three second tent from Decathlon at Stockport - they're the business!! I love mine to bits, never heard a bad review on them either!

Is that for sleeping 2 or 4 ppl?

Cos you should always add 1 to the amount of people you need to sleep to allow for the miget sized people they mesure it with and a place to put your stuff

It's a half hour or so drive but in Wigan we have a truly huge Go Outdoors store www.gooutdoors.co.uk/ which I haven't been in yet but I'm fairly sure they will have many, I can check it out if you like. We also have a dedicated camping shop called Bradburns that have quite a few display tents. May be worth the extra drive because you really do not want to discover your tent doesn't work when you're in the middle of a field and God decides he wants to direct all of his rain onto you.

Does Decathalon have tents on display set up? I'm not too bothered about second hand as new they're not exactly expensive.

I think that the £99 jobby above is the favourite at the mo' as I like the room layout as it gives a bigger living area.
