A very common thread it seems nowadays.
Very good friends blue escort van was stolen from his house in Formby last night, the van itself isn't worth much but it had all his tools in it. It's a dark metallic blue with a roof rack with pipe insulation round the bars and 15" alloys on it, its also on a Q plate.
Just posting on the off chance anyone saw it anywhere etc
cheers all.

At the end of last week (Friday I think) I saw this on Winwick Road, Warrington. It was just after I read this thread so I thought it was weird, I mean how many Q plate Escort vans are there about? I got a pic on my phone but it’s not come out very well at all, see if you can make out the plate. Or maybe the white square is recognisable? I forgot all about taking the pic and then forgot where I’d seen the thread hence I’ve only replied now when I’ve seen the thread again Probably not the one unless they are so stupid they haven’t changed the distinctive Q plates, tyres don’t look wide enough to be alloys either, is it even metallic? Anyway, like I said, I saw the thread on here, then I see this Q plate dark blue Escort van so thought it was worth a post.
edit - no worries, pic removed just in case the owner of this particular van saw it on here and thought they were being accused of something!

Probably too late to be useful now but I take it that you checked the Gyppo camp behind Formby Hall Golf Club (near Cheshire Lines)
"Travellers" please!!!!! Don't be so insulting to our "racially protected" "unfortunate" & "badly done to" colleagues.... Don't you have any compassion for these people????
