Oulton Drift Day

What does it take to organise one of these? How much does it cost etc etc?

I know Bob_Defly's been on one, is it recommended?

I'd also like to have ago on the oulton park rallye circuits, but I was told they are no longer doing the drift days.

I would be interested if anyone has any info about whether they are going to start them again.

Hi, I'm part of the SX owners club, and we are organising a specific drift practice day at Oulton Tarmac rally circuit in early December. It will mostly be attended by people who haven't done much before and some who just interested to learn about car control.

It may be open to non members as well, and we are also hopefully getting advice and help from Phil Morrison, fellow SXOC member and new D1 champion.

Hi, I believe the Oulton Park Drift day is likely to be Sat 9th Dec.

We're just waiting for Motor Sport Vision to confirm price and details etc.

I would expect it will be open to non SXOC members, as it's a very friendly and relaxed club and several of us are on Pistonheads anyway.

If it's useful as soon as the date is agreed I'll post a link to the thread on SXOC and I'm sure Pistonhead members would be very welcome. Previous SXOC events have been run in a very competent and friendly manner. I believe Phil Morrison and possibly some more from Driftworks team will be in attendance to pass on advice and encouragement to all attendees.
