Fear not, there is good music out there. You just have to look that little bit harder these days. Top of the Pops has largely been taken over by irreverent crap like "r'n'b". Not the true r n b that we really know but the stupid 'street' stuff that all sounds the same and has no class....other than scally.

Guitar bands are still out there and have staged a comeback. Maybe you're just not looking in the right places. There is one place that you can go to still enjoy largely decent quality songs, music and musicians. It's called a festival :-) The crap contingent don't seem to be able to stomach fields, which is a good thing. But then we also know they generally can't perform live and don't play instruments.

I'm sure others on here will disagree with my comments. What kind of music are you interested in?

Will do - though I aint too sure you aint takin the piss. Last saw The Other Lot at Birmingham, with those yanks and the Darkness ('The'?). Love Morsey's sober but musing ramblings. Has Charamba been updated recently? Must check....

Look out for our four piece if you're ever back in the City by the Bay, cos we're jamming again soon: Unsung Heroes. I'm the other greying one on the mike.

PS Ian, if that IS you, what's Dave Lloyd up to now? You got any tapes of any jams you fellas did with Ste Morris et al from those days? Or more recently? Send us a pm and I'll send you my address. Cheers, man
