I going to be trying to drag the missus on the bank for her first circuit marshalling experiance.

Its our wedding anniversary on the Monday - so its proved a little tricky (not impossible) to make the event recently.

Imagine my surprise when the lovely wife suggested a day out at the Gold Cup with a picnic and things.

So - yes, I will be there again.

Probably THE single best annual event on the Oulton calender.

Does anyone know what time the gates open to the public tomorrow please? I want to try and avoid the traffic if possible.

The gates are usually around 7am IIRC. I remember turning up for a BTCC meet in the 90's at 0630...not worth it these days though. If you know the lanes, and aren't fussed about parking on the infield the best option is to go in at the Hilltop entrance (round the back of the farm), failing that nip down the hill to Knickerbrook.

Right see some of you folks tomorrow hopefully, if it's pissing down like it is at the moment, then it will be my big riding jacket and matching silly hat, otherwise my C33 paddock jacket.

Thats a ball ache link if I click on the link at the bottom for the map, it scrambles my PC and I have to shut down my browser and all windows. But only after its screwed with my processor for five minutes.

So where is Oulton Park then ? as their crap website doesnt actually tell you that, and all the map link does is seize my PC, tried it three times now, dont want to re-boot yet again.

Found it, had to google it though, coz the tts that did the website didnt think to put an address. Unbelieveable.

Exhaust backbox fell off last night! Rubber mounting perished and pipe's rusted through. If I can actually find a garage open on Bank Holiday Monday who can get it fixed this morning, I'll try and get there.
