Independant Audi servicing in M/chester

Hi guys,

Just wandering if anyone can reccommend somewhere decent to get my Audi S3 serviced nr. Manchester? Rang the main stealers up for a quote and they want 320 quid to pretty much just change the oil and filter!!

Spoke to a lad at work who mentioned a place called 'Awesome GTI centre' in Irlam who apparantly specialise in VAG cars, anyone used these guys? Going off the name they sound like a bit of a 'Max Power Special' sort of place, may well be totally wrong, but dont want to get my motor back with a 27" twin tail pipe exhaust fitted!!!

Definitely do not use the Manchester central dealer. Put me off the marque for life.

The Bolton dealer isn't too bad, but still mananged to rip me off with unnecessary wheel bearing changes.

I second that(Mcr central dealer).Sent my tt there for its first service and was asked what budget I would allow if anything extra needed attention.Told them £200 as I was in meetings all day and could not be disturbed and when I returned they made damn sure they spent the budget on silly things(handbrake adjustment and wiper blades £100!!!)on a 12 month old car.Also overcharged me £100 over the price quoted on the phone.Bill was reduced after shouts and threats in front of everyone in the place.Again put me off Audi and sold the car before it needed another service.
