I'm in the UK from 3rd of May until 24th May inclusive. It's Cars in the Park at Bolton Abbey on the 7th which is a must attend event. The 14th would be perfect but I could manage the 21st. I'm a bit fed up of the motoring scene here in Florida so I'm thirsting for some reasonably intelligent conversation. I'll even talk to pwiggy

The Romper is a pub just north of the tunnels that run under the runway at Ringway Airport.

The plot usually involves meeting at the Triffid Centre, a gentle run to the tunnels, an antisocial thrash through them, then half a lager shandy at The Romper.

I've been to a couple, but not for a long while.

Must make more of an effort....

You mean you're not going to Cardiff?!

(fingers crossed, touch wood, all being well etc etc)

Put it this way I'll either be in Wales (again) or will want to do something to take my mind off the event!

Well I appear to be a jinx for damn Cardiff! At least I didn't cry last year unlike previously Don't really have the money for it either

The last romper has to have been the best - us "'ard core" folk carried it on til about 930pm
